Benefiting Jeremiah's Place
Jeremiah's Place is proud to be the charity beneficiary of this year's Jack and Jill of Americas Pittsburgh Chapter's Presentation Ball.
2021 will mark the 20th Anniversary of the Presentation Ball which will be held in June.
Due to restrictions related to COVID19, in-person attendance at the event will be limited to our membership, but extended family and friends and our corporate sponsors will be able to experience the event virtually. In lieu of the Presentation Ball serving as the fundraiser, this year our fundraiser will be the production of the corresponding 20th Anniversary Ball Souvenir Journal.
About Jeremiah's Place
Jeremiah’s Place located in the East End of Pittsburgh is a non-profit organization that aims to protect and care for children when their families are experiencing a critical need for short-term care. Jeremiah’s Place has an open door for families who are experiencing mental and/or medical emergencies, who have unsafe or unreliable childcare, need respite care, or are dealing with domestic violence and homelessness.
Due to COVID19, they have also become a community resource to combat food insecurities and other needs.
The mission of the Jack and Jill Foundation is to address the issues that affect African American children and families by investing in programs and services that create a strong foundation for children to thrive long term.
