Are You Currently Experiencing an Emergency or Crisis?

Jeremiah's Place provides emergency childcare to parents, families, and referrals during emergency and crisis situations, but we do not operate as a drop-off daycare center.

Prior to utilizing our services, each family must undergo an intake process. See below for more information on how to get started with emergency childcare services offered by Jeremiah's Place.

Parent or Guardian? Here's How to Get Started:

If you are a parent or guardian interested in our services please call us today at 412-924-0726. One of our staff members can walk you through the steps you will need to take to utilize our services.

Though Jeremiah's Place provides emergency childcare, we do not operate as a drop-in center.

If you are a family or guardian interested in using our childcare services you must first register your child or children with a one-time intake appointment.

Please allow roughly 1 hour per child for this intake appointment.

You will need to bring the following to your intake appointment:

For each child:

  • Social Security card or number
  • Up-to-date immunization records
  • Medical insurance card (if applicable)
  • Medical provider information

You will also need:

  • Parent or guardian photo ID
  • Emergency contact information

Looking to Make a Referral?

If you are interested in referring one of your clients to Jeremiah's Place, please have them* call us at 412-924-0726 and one of our team members can walk them through what is needed to register for our services.

* Please note that we are a self-referred service and the parent or guardian must be the one to call for registration.

If one of your clients is interested in using our childcare services they must first register their child or children with a one-time intake appointment.

You can prepare your client ahead of time by letting them know that should allot 1 hour per child for their intake appointment.

They will need to bring the following to their intake appointment:
