JP Update – COVID-19 – May 18th, 2020

Since April 1 st, Jeremiah’s Place has been able to provide childcare for the essential workers in our community. It has been an honor to help local healthcare professionals as they continue to keep our community safe during these difficult times.

As you may know, Allegheny County has officially been able to enter into the “yellow phase” of reopening. Childcare facilities are able to reopen under this phase. Jeremiah’s Place is happy to announce, that we will be re-expanding our programming on May 26 th for emergency childcare and respite purposes. We will have evening, overnight, and weekend hours available, though these may not be guaranteed.

If you are in need of our services, please contact us at 412-924-0726 to schedule an intake appointment. Please remember that we are NOT a drop-in center, and you must be registered and schedule with Jeremiah’s Place before using us.

Getting Started with Jeremiah's Place

While we reopen, Jeremiah’s Place will remain instituting our heightened health and safety precautions until further notice, and we will be operating with smaller ratios to allow for greater social distancing and small group sizes.
