We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to build trusting relationships with families experiencing emergency childcare needs. This part-time role provides families with access to both on-site and virtual client registration during scheduled evenings and weekends. The Family Empowerment Specialist will assess client needs, provide crisis intervention, and connect families to appropriate community resources and services. This role also supports Therapeutic Childcare staff and contributes to family engagement programming.
Full-Time Therapeutic Childcare Staff – JP South
Staff members will be responsible for managing the care provided to children visiting our short-term emergency childcare center. Many of these children may have complex backgrounds and
experiences, so an understanding of the effects of trauma on child development is essential. Therapeutic childcare team members at JP South will also provide an enriching environment by implementing a S.T.E.A.M.-based curriculum throughout our daily schedule, with the ability to adapt activities based on developmental stages.

Overnight Therapeutic Childcare team members provide constant support and comfort for children staying overnight, including hourly room checks to ensure safe sleep standards. Additionally, they play a significant role in ensuring a safe and clean environment for children utilizing our crisis nursery.
