Development Manager
McKenzie is a caring and dedicated individual who values the opportunity to lend a helping hand to those that need it, something she is able to do at Jeremiah’s Place.
McKenzie started as a Therapeutic Childcare staff member in 2020 and was promoted to Development Manager after graduating in 2022. As the Development Manager, she sources funding from individuals, corporations, and foundations, plans events, and manages social media.
McKenzie has her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Public Service with a concentration in Nonprofit Management, and a certificate in Managing Health Services, Programs, and Projects. She is currently attending Pitt for her Master of Public Administration with a major in Public and Nonprofit Management.
As a Pittsburgh native, she considers herself a proud Yinzer. In her free time, McKenzie enjoys baking, cooking, walking on local trails, and snuggling her dog, Barkley.
