Jeremiah's Place is excited to announce a new addition to our Board of Directors, Tanya Baronti! Tanya brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our ever expanding board. The inclusion of her guidance and expertise combined with the talents of our existing team will only further help Jeremiah's Place to achieve our mission and vision.

Tanya Baronti is the Director of United for Children at the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania. In her role, she leads and oversees the grants process for child and youth serving agencies and also manages an amazing team who run several initiatives including: Allegheny Partners for Out of School Time (APOST), Be a Middle School Mentor, Hi-5, Coaching Boys into Men and Be There.
Tanya has a long career serving children and families through social services, education, and nonprofit work. Prior to joining the United Way team, she was the Digital Media and Learning Project Manager at the Fred Rogers Center at Saint Vincent College where she was instrumental in the development of a statewide professional development institute and a statewide library lending project in addition to being a frequently invited keynote speaker and presenter regionally and nationally. Tanya also taught psychology and early childhood education courses at the Community College of Allegheny County for many years.
Tanya has a B.A. and M.Ed. from the Pennsylvania State University, and a M.S. degree in early childhood education from the Erikson Institute in Chicago. She volunteers as a mentor for the Penn State Liberal Arts Student Mentor program. Tanya has previously served on the board for a local theater company, a charter school, and The Change Machine at the Sprout Fund. Tanya has three children who provide the inspiration and passion for all her work.
