At Jeremiah's Place, we understand that a family can experience a crisis at any moment. Because of that, our center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is available to all families and children, regardless of income or their current situation.
A spontaneous crisis can pose an incredible challenge for children and their families. While the family tends to their situation, we provide a comfortable, nurturing, and safe environment for each child in our care. Our Therapeutic Childcare Staff engages the children with sensory play to help ease the child and provides a supportive and soothing atmosphere where the children can process their feelings and experiences without worry.
When a family experiences a sudden crisis, time is typically of the essence. At Jeremiah's Place, families can have peace of mind knowing that we are fully equipped to accommodate an overnight stay or multiple-night arrangements. No matter the length of a child’s time in our center, Jeremiah’s Place provides items essential to provide a comfortable stay. This may include pajamas, daytime clothing, diapers, wipes, food, formula, and hygiene supplies.
Jeremiah’s Place bedrooms are equipped with all the essentials, including:
- Weighted blankets
- Weighted stuffed animals
- Night lights
- Sound machines
- Rocking chairs
- Books
- And more
All to create a relaxed and comfortable environment, making Jeremiah’s Place feel like a home away from home.
